Peppermint Salve relieves the pain of many types of headaches and migraines, as as well as cooling for burns and soothing for bug bites.  Excellent as a chest rub for chest congestion due to colds and the flu. 

A soft white Peppermint Salve with peppermint crisp green leaves surrounding it.

Ingredients: organic sunflower oil, peppermint leaves, beeswax, lavender essential oil

Peppermint is part of the mint family and has an aromatic scent that we all recognize from the many peppermint-scented products we use daily: toothpaste, mouthwash and soap. In addition, Peppermint has a warming & cooling energy which makes it a unique herb. 

Peppermint contains volatile oils that are used to treat headaches and migraine attacks. In addition, it contains menthol, which can help relax muscles and ease the pain. Applying Peppermint salve to your temples can help relieve the pain from both tension headaches and migraines.

 

Peppermint also inhibits bacteria and fungus and is a welcome addition to antimicrobial salves. In addition, Peppermint balm can be used as a chest rub (NOT for small children) as it eases breathing (whether from cold, flu or allergies with congestion). Use for cooling minor burns and soothing bug bites and skin irritations.
